New to the Crunch, looking for a 50th birthday watch.

Hello, My name is Richard. I have been into watches since I was a kid in the 80's. Looking for a watch for my 50th birthday. I have over a year. Would like to have something hand made for the most part. So far my short list is RGM and D. Dornbluth. Looking for other options if you have any.

Thanks for any input.

These are extremely expensive, so probably not an option compared to the ones you are considering, but they are handmade and wonderful to look at. https://www.jnshapirowatches.com/

Thanks for the feedback. I have looked at them. They are not really my style.

I spoke to Roland Murphy of RGM on Sunday at Watchtime NYC. He gave me a personal history lesson of the brand. Great to meet the man himself and get a personal explanation of the models. I really liked these.

I have spoken with the staff at RGM several times. I had a hanhart in for service with them . The COE pictured is the model that I am interested in. They just had an open house but I had to miss it.
