Two Stitch Straps

A few weeks ago, after seeing another member of the community espouse the virtues of Two Stitch Straps, I decided to take a chance on ordering one.

Well, the strap arrived today and I am very impressed, and it is exactly the shade of brown I was looking for. I cannot see any flaws in its construction, the quality of the leather is high and I anticipate it wearing in very well.

There was a handwritten note from Ivan on the package which was a very nice touch. This goes a long way to building brand loyalty with me.

I ordered the strap on October 29th, so it took 5 weeks for it to arrive here in Ontario. Ivan emailed me along the way to inform me that there were issues with their country's postal service which was appreciated. He gave me an option to have it sent by DHL (for an extra cost) but as I was in no rush I declined.

Please note, I have no affiliation with Two Stitch Straps, I have not been given any compensation for this, I just appreciate good service and great craft.

Nice strap! I will check them out.

Nice watch as well!

Looks amazing 🔥

I like how they treated the edges and holes with a slightly darker color. I bet the strap will age nicely 👌

Question about the Airman: my first airman arrived yesterday. Ordered online. Never saw one in-person, but they were cheap enough (and looked great enough online) to risk it.

Question: on yours, does the bezel clamp down firm, or still have a little wiggle in it when clamped down? Mine has some wiggle, but I don’t want to waste time making a fuss if they’ll just tell me that’s normal.

Apart from that, in love this watch!

What I find is there can indeed be wiggle. In my case, the cause of this is that I haven't lined up the notches on the bezel and the clamp well enough. Once I loosen the clamp and align the notches better, then reclamp, the wiggle is solved.

As for the watch itself, it is excellent and I thoroughly enjoy it. I went with the 40mm version as I was concerned that the 36mm version would be very difficult to read given the amount of text on the dial. I would now like to buy a 36mm, black dial purist but waiting for the right price, i.e. somewhere under $1K Canadian.
