Interested after buying various watch magazines (pre-2000) and finding tool watches in knife, outdoor type stores, not just jewelry stores.

Won enough $$$ to purchase an older Omega Seamaster at casino in Reno Nevada in 2000. Later sold this fund the present Seamaster (2251.80) that I own now.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Have patience and learn as much as you can about wristwatches.
