Most post-adolescents I know wear regularly smartwatches.
Even now, living in the deep countryside, I'd say that at least 30% of them (in a village with +-50 people) wears them.
Came late to the party. Mostly because Orient Star is growing up on me lately.
It's a beautiful watch, although I find the dial on the busy side. I prefer the ones with the regular second hand for the sake of simplicity. On a tsuyosa, small seconds, it goes very well but this one has to much going on. I believe there's also this same watch but with the regular seconds and it goes better for me.
About the price? Being a very high quality watch I think the deserves the price it goes for.
For me it's Citizen. The blend of the tech, build quality, reliability, and the looks. All at a modest price tag. Ticks all the boxes for me.
