It’s a watch, nothing seriously affecting his life (in which case truth always) so let him enjoy it you will not regret it.

I agree I’m wearing mine now, even though I have a seamaster and a couple of tissots.
This is my day/ work watch, though not sure if the radio control would work if the zombies take over😁
