I bought my first chronograph from Exchange & Mart whenI was a abouts 20...it was called a Global and I had never seen a chronograph before...I don't remember owning a watch before that. I have worked in labs most of my working life and have had a a few chronographs.
I live inEngland and am 74 years old.
I have 7 watches but do sell off ones some time especially to get others
I have always aspired to have a Breitling Navitimer since I was 23 but still have not got one. I qualified in Metallurgy a Chemistry but worked in associated fields for the latter part of my working life
I have had or do have : Breitling (sprint) Seiko; Brathwaite; Christopher Ward; Davosa GMT; several Tissot, plus less known quirky watches

Found it ! Casio A205 Blue thunder.
Wow c£100 for a spares or repair one
c£699 for a good one . I threw mine away because the crystal was badly scratched ... I will not be replacing it then, its a pity as I really liked it.
I gave my Breitling Sprint to my young boys to play with when the bezel came off and the buttons stopped working, it's now lost, a long time ago. Another financial loss there then

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to reply, however this is not the watch I had. The LCD batons are the same but mine had no over pri ting on the screen and, from memory, the display was not in a window but the whole face.
