I live in a “not-too-safe” country in LATAM; I do wear my watches (not the Rolexes) in my office, but when I need to step out (for coffee for example) I take them off and put my safe watches on (mostly Casios). Yesterday, I had to live in a rush and let my PAM388 in my office drawer, fingers crossed 🤞 it is still there!! In the meantime…

What's LATAM?
Im the opposite, work on my own in a public shop & wear my Seamaster most days. Its a small town in Fenland (England) with a very low crime rate, tho we're getting lots new houses built & the population will increase by around a third. 😢
I anticipate rising crime unfortunately & I'll be wearing a Casio then too.
Very sad state of the world 😞
I assume it's Latin America

It sucks right? LATAM is “Latin America”, specifically Caracas… things were far worse a few years ago, but it is still risky to “show” a pricey (and well known) watch…
🔥
I guess this is one of the reasons I love living in a small village. I can walk in the middle of the night without any fear. If everybody knows each other crimes don't really happen. I wish you guys all stay safe and a beautiful evening❤️

Thanks for your wishes!!! Given “relativity”; I now feel that we are not that bad!!! I get to wear my GS, Tudor, Seiko… back in the days of extreme insecurity wearing a tissot was bold!!!

It's cool to GSHOCK it with a suit. I always keep glancing at it and push some buttons during lunch meetings. Keeps people thinking I'm checking my calories, heartrate, steps etc. Like ah really fir executive type
