My co-workers gifted me a Cartier Ronde Solo on the last day at work in the bank I was leaving after 15 years

Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Did the man-math and convinced the wife to approve the purchase of a Grand Seiko SBGA293 Spring Drive. Drove 450 kms to the only Seiko Boutique in Saudi Arabia, bagged the watch. What’s more, managed another approval on the fly - a Seiko SPB295J1 Limited Edition Urushi dial for good measure.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Rolex or Omega are not the only watches that will make you look good. Do the hard yards in reasearch, buy affordable pieces and enjoy the hobby for many years

Got it last week. Grand Seiko spring drive. Because of the spring drive
