Does anyone else love Formex?
I am a Seiko guy. I am getting into Chinese watches, but mostly I own Seiko’s. I kind of gave up on Swiss watches, but with Formex I feel like I am not getting ripped off. The case is good. There is some great engineering with easy change bracelets and straps. It just seems like a watch worth it’s price (as much I like Omega, I cannot see dropping $5600 on a Seamaster $300m, and NEVER $10k on a NTTD). But with Formex, the watch feels right. I highly recommend the Essence for fellow Seiko fanatics.

That's actually a good looking watch. I must admit I have not personally checked them out, merely because of the name. "Formex" sounds like a mail order company selling carburators and sprockets.
I, too, have cooled towards the big Swiss names. Horological history and cred is important, but their prices largely feel like a joke at this point.
I have started looking at Formex and they have some great looking watches. Definitely on the rada.
