I want the 39mm non-GMT version. It is sold out now, but I will buy it the second it becomes available. I love what is going on the UK right now (AnOrdain, Fears, Farer, Christopher Ward’s Twelve,…).
I want one badly. I almost bought one a few days ago with Collective. These are so cool. I kind of want a Citizen Chronomaster as well (the paper dial one). Very different watches, but both are good.
I have travelled all over the developing world and never had a problem. I mostly wore a two-tone Longines, vintage gold Movado, or Seiko. I have been robbed multiple times in ChicAgo, but they never took the watch (including: Tudor Sub, Grand Seiko, Cartier,…). You never know, but I am far less risk averse where I grew up.
As for Turkey, it is a big replica place. Everyone wears a fake Rolex, fake Royal Oak or fake Nautilus. I would avoid the bracelet because the quality shows too much, but on leather/rubber/NATO, people will just think it is a fake.but so be careful.
That Ball is nice. Those watches have a real heft and presence to them. I am shocked your PRX looks so nice. Mine has lost its shine. It does not look destroyed (like my Seiko SARY056), but it almost like the west was a death by a thousand microscratches. It just looks dull, not worn.
But I love the collection.I need to have more discipline and buy fewer, better pieces. Are you wearing the Longines? I feel like it has the same place as the Ball—being your “Good watch.”
