Cartier Tank Must XL for Monday.
This 31 mm x 41 mm stainless steel rectangular watch is only 8.4 mm thick. It is 23 mm between the lugs and water resistant to 30 meters.
The sapphire crystal is A/R coated and flat. The dial is silvered with guilloched rosette pattern at the center, a sunburst pattern around the edge, with a stepped date window at 6 o'clock. The date wheel is done in matching silver. The black Roman Numerals are painted, and includes Cartier's secret signature. The hands are blued and sword shaped. The crown is beaded with a blue synthetic cabochon shaped spinel.
This tank is powered by the Cartier caliber 1847 MC. This in-house automatic winding mechanical movement beats at 4Hz, pivots on 23 jewels and has a power reserve of 40 hours. It is hand-windable, has hacking seconds, and a quick set date.
It sits on a Delugs Blue Alligator strap specifically designed for the Cartier Tank Must XL. I've added a deployant clasp to complete the package.

Love it! The guilloche pattern in the center really adds a 3d texture to the dial, very nice. I like that it has a date complication as well, much more practical for day to day wear. I have a tank must in the large size, and prefer that size but if I ever needed to wear an XL, this would be a really good choice
