Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I got into watch collecting after my friend showed me his Seiko 5 during my University days. Shortly after that I began researching mechanical watches and ended up falling down the rabbit hole.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
The first watch I ever owned was a Seiko 5 SNKK71.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Start with a small well rounded collection. Research before you buy, and only get what you really want. Do not base your purchases on hype or other people's opinions.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Grand Seiko, Cartier and Omega are several brands that have caught my attention recently.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
My grail watch is the Vacheron Constantin Overseas 4500V/110A-B128. I love the design, how it is versatile, elegant with a great movement. I also appreciate that it is not as loud and over hyped the way it's contemporaries are.
