Unimatic - inexpensive niche brand that is really developing a following. I suspect today's collectors will be happy that they bought in early some day.

A fair amount. It's a challenge for me - I love the hunt. I love the score of managing to acquire something that an average Joe like myself isn't supposed to be able to own at retail. Now that being said, it's getting harder every day and the amount of work and relationship building I've had to do all across the US is getting ridiculous. I'm fortunate that my work allows me to travel and I always make it a point to stop in anywhere I can. Has that paid off? Not really as most dealers are holding back inventory for local customers. I also won't spend a bunch of money hoping to get the call... but any AD that has allowed me to purchase pieces I've been hunting DOES get business from me on the other side. My collection is mostly Rolex and Omega - not because they are hot, but because I really do enjoy the designs.

Funny you've identified this - it's quite true... My favorite classic movement is the GMT as well... but my iPhone now has 7-8 different time-zones configured on the clock to quickly remind me of where all my co-workers are.
