Self made and it is nicer that I imagined

41mm, Seamaster style with sandwich dial. Dial is off set blue from the black bezel. Bracelet is meh…but overall the piece sits well on wrist. Put this together for very short money. First time I have made a watch for less than a C note.

Man that’s a beauty

Came out so well I made one and gave it to a relative.

I'm thinking of building that exact model, but I've held off because the parts dealers that have that dial in stock indicate that the diameter is 31mm, not the typical 28.5mm or 29mm. What movement did you install here and were there any fitting issues?

·

used an nh35… fitted with a spacer that came with the case. Fit was not a problem at all. Dial was 31mm

Looks very nice. I had bought a sterile homage and had them add "Spectre"

Not bad at all.

·

I've always thought a blue dial with a black bezel would be cool. Turns out I was right.

·

Great job! That looks really nice! Kudos to making and giving another to a (lucky) friend! Can I be your friend? 🤣

·

Excellent job!!

How did they add “Spector” on it? Printed, water slide, metal sticker, something else?

Who did the work to add the name?

Unsure. It's printed

Looks Like a Tudor, Sick! Congrats!

·

Congrats, sick watch! I would be interested in assembling a watch from spare parts as well! What tools were needed for this project ?

·

Used a caseback wrench, hand removing tools, plastic to remove the hands without scratching the dial, rodigo to clean away dust and specs hand setting tools. I have a movement holder (optional) and case cushion (optional).
