My watch oriented library is ever growing . . .

I love a good watch book. Sometimes it’s really the only way I’ll be able to get to know certain pipe dream grails and also to just dive deeper on watches I do own or plan to own (it’s just not the same with a YouTube vid) + as a prof I’m in the process of preparing a course that scratches my obsessions while teaching students about the history of watches (hopefully creating some watch enthusiasts in the process) and our relationship with time and timekeeping.

Do you enjoy diving into watch books and/or other watch related collectibles? My Japanese is horrible, so I’m slowly combing through this anniversary Grand Seiko book with a photo translation app (god bless technology).

I realized that later but kind of like the process of slowly reading through translation haha. Makes it seem more authentic somehow like I’m lost in a Ginza boutique trying to make a transaction.

I agree the Japanese version just seems the correct version for the topic 👍
