I’m actually also worried about opening the watch up and not being able to put the damn thing back together and retain the water resistance. I’m a complete novice. I might buy a cheap automatic just to practice.

Yeah I hate that feeling of knowing you shouldn’t want one, but then the mind continues to work overtime about other models.
