Watch and wind up Chicago

The Watch and wind up show is coming to Chicago next weekend. Can anyone who went last year tell me if it’s worth it? What I mean is are there any deals? Do they have a lot of watches? Do they have any non micro brands such as Tudor or omega? I am trying to figure out if it’s worth it to go? Thanks.

I was at the SF wind up in San Francisco a few months ago. There were a lot of independent and micro brand watch makers there. No Omega or Tudor. But Oris and Christopher Ward were there, I believe they are both independent and G Shock.

I didn’t go to buy any watches, so I’m not sure about any deals to be had. I did find out a lot about Norqain. They make very cool watches. I ended up buying one at a later date. I also discovered AnOrdain. They make the best looking dials. I’m also considering buy one.

I felt like I learned a lot about small well made watch brands. I recommend going it was a great time.

I also got to meet Max on Sunday on the street after the show and got a free WC t-shirt. A fun bonus.
