Added a new watch to my collection, and need advice about restoring acrylic crystal

I just received a watch I bought from eBay. It's a Rakata watch from the 1980tys that was serviced in Ukraine in September 2022. It seems to keep time and has a nice patina. The acrylic crystal gave some small scratches (see the video in the link). Is there a way to polish away the scratches?

It may be simpler to just replace the crystal as they are typically available and inexpensive, but unless there are cracks, it can be polished. In fact, only acrylic can be polished. GIYF but there is a product called Polywatch or just toothpaste or metal polish or really any mild abrasive.

I've used polywatch acrylic polisher on a few of my pieces and they've come up a treat. Obviously it won't take real deep scratches out, you would need to change the crystal. Polywatch is only a few £/$ (a bit of time n elbow grease) and we'll worth a try.

Polywatch, use a Dremel with buffing pad.

Cheers!
