Another beauty that just hasn't found it's way to my collection as yet. Just love it but can't decide on which one to get! That color combination does look brilliant!

Thanks! They do have a number of very good color choices. I think it’s worth getting the origional leather strap. The Bund backing felt a bit tight to me - I have a 7 1/8” wrist, but the strap is very comfortable on its own. Of course with the welded lugs, single pass straps work well, but the leather on the OG strap is worth having.

I love love love LOOOOVE mine! I love ww1 history and this was a god-send ❣️I don’t think there are any bad options. They all look great.

I got this combination

  • Steel case

  • White dial w/ orange lume

  • 40 mm

  • (Bund) Cinnamon brown

I considered getting the steel case + cream dial and maybe the brass case + cream dial , but I wanted it to look as if i had gotten it “new” back then.

The 40 mm wear surprisingly well on my wrist. Maybe the bund helps? 🤔 🤷

I’m thinking of getting

  • Steel case or brass case

  • Grey dial w/ white lume

  • 40 mm

  • (Bund) blue

I’m not sure if i want to get the brass case or the steel case. I’m thinking of getting the brass one for some variety and as a more colorful option, but grey + blue + steel looks very good.

Fantastic information. Thank you. Yes. The blue + grey + steel is an excellent look indeed. Like you I was also evaluating the cream dial and/or the brass case. Great to know also the 40mm works well. I've often been searching for an original vintage version but as this Vario looks so great that that's what I'll probably go with!

I want to eventually get a real trench watch but I’m very satisfied with this homage. As soon as I held it in my hands i could see the quality of it. The engraving homage to “In Flanders Fields” and the date of the Amristice on the back are the double cherry on top for me. It’s one of my favorite watches and I won’t sell it unless absolutely forced to ❤️
