I absolutely love watches. I am blessed with a 5.5" wrist. Any bigger and I would be buying a lot more watches. 34mm is about the right size. Recently took the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute's Watch 100 course. Thinking of becoming a hobbyist.
Maybe it’s the miniature mechanical wonder of springs and wheels—or a tiny rock vibrating 32,768 times per second—that captures us. Or perhaps we can...
I absolutely love that watch and plan to get one for myself. I also have a small. wrist. I spoke to a watchmaker about it a couple of weeks ago. He said he's handled one recently and thinks it's a great watch for the money.
Looks like a great collection. Maybe leave that last spot for something that you come across one day that you can't live without. I have a couple of vintage watches. I know where they came from and who owned them. There are a lot of frankenwatches out there. I'd wait on the vintage piece until you find one with reasonable provenance. There's no rush! It's a process, not a destination.
