I mean, I hate to be the guy, but at the end of the day a simple silver or rhodium stick dialed Datejust in steel ticks all of the boxes, no? Something like an AT just has that slight bit of sportiness you can‘t fully shake when you suit up (love Bond, but I’m not OHMSS), and I can’t bring myself to call an integrated bracelet watch PP/AP/GP (or the like) or a chronograph an “all-arounder“ 🤷♂️
Hmmm, I lean Aqua Terra on this, although I have a slight gripe with the 19mm lug width, as well as lacking the functionality of the previous generation (quick set hour) 38.5mm 8500 movements. In this case you get a standard (yet wonderful) 8800 SMP movement.
If you can find the “sky fall” you’ll have the best of all worlds, including a fully brushed bracelet.
