Yesterday I pulled the trigger on this beauty. For a couple of years I was not interested in any watch made by Swatch, but that changed with the MoonSwatch. I thought it’s a cool idea but it was quite overpriced for the quality you get from these watches (can’t expect too much since you cannot fix them).
Fast forward to yesterday, I found this chrono from 1991, extremely cheap, with very little wear. I fell in love with the dial, the gold with that dark green, just amazing. So I made the decision. It was 100% worth it and it works very well, considering the fact that it is pretty old. The only thing that I wasn’t a fan of, is the strap, but i found a black one that I had to modify; everything else, just great.
Model: Swatch SCB107 “Rollerball”, 1991

I like the big dials, making this very legible.

True, since it’s 37mm
Nice watch - and your story tells the story of why the MoonSwatch was a good collab and marketing strategy for Swatch. Hope it brings much enjoyment!
