I thought it might be interesting to see if we could get some stories on those watches that mean something to you/have a story behind why you've kept them - post your story and pics if you can!
For me it would be this terrible little watch that I wore on my wedding day. I wasn't an enthusiast back then so don't judge me. Strap also disintegrated later in the evening. Despite its many flaws I have kept it and made sure it gets a fresh battery whenever it needs one (despite permanently living in my desk drawer). Reminds me of that day whenever I open my desk.

Mine is one I got for my 21st, been with me through thick and thin. After all this time its slowly dying now but hopefully it can be fixed as it was my first watch that I've had long term.
I have two... the Citizen dress watch from my Dad, and the Columbia CL-1312 field watch given to me for my birthday I think 15 years ago. I recently had it repaired and its VJ-32 Japan quartz movement is now brand new. I love them both. :)
