I‘m from northern Germany and live in Switzerland close to Zurich. Professionally much traveling. The children are grown and we enjoy the free Time with travel and activities in the region.
It started in the 80s with a Tissot Rock Watch.
In the 2k then come a Pulsar Chronology and the first mechanical watch as Seiko.
Again after a longer pause then came a TAG Heuer and so then became a small collection from it.

My Pulsar, bought in Florida an had a lot of Wrist time
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Do not rush, rather sleep one more night before buying. And be sure to try on, I had a Rolex (Explorer II) in mind and have tried this and also a Daytona, they were both not my watches.

Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Chronograph with green Dial.
