Hi 🙂 I’m new to the watch collecting scene. Only started a couple of years ago. I have an eclectic taste in watches, from vintage, to main stream and also off-beat pieces. I’ve recently gotten in to watch repair/restoration and I’m slowly learning all about that, which is fascinating. Just keen to chat to other watch enthusiasts and collectors.

Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
Through a friend who introduced me to the watch collecting scene after showing me his collection

A Seiko Prospex Sumo ‘ice blue’ ref SPB179
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Take your time with your 1st purchase. Don’t just follow the glitz/glam marketing. Let the watch choose you, by which I mean, let the watch you buy jump out at you and say yes, that’s the one I want.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Some of the new releases by Christopher Ward are fantastic. I feel the need to add a 2nd one to my collection. Also, I’d like to add a Grand Seiko to my collection.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Omega Dark Side of the Moon ‘Black Black’. It’s an incredible looking watch, with a ceramic case.
