Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
Always been into watches since young, but the first piece that got me hooked into collecting was a Seiko SRP741K1 (dubbed “Landsumo” as I would later find out).
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Can’t remember ‘owned’ but first watch I bought with my own money (first paycheck, IIRC) was a Kenneth Cole quartz chronograph.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Lately I’ve been drawn by the design language of French watch brands particularly Cartier, Bell & Ross, and Yema. Also been enjoying microbrands as of late - Direnzo, Sternglas, and Farer among others.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
A Vacheron Constantin Historiques 1921, or a A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1. Why are these my grails? Design first and foremost, second being the price 😂
