I have two Islanders and a relatively big collection of other Chinese watches including another SKX homage (Steeldive SD1996AC).

Islanders to me feel on the higher end of the Chinese watch spectrum. They are higher priced too but when you take into account the customer service, guaranteed SKX part compatibility (not sure if my Steeldive or any other SKX homages are), great included bracelets it all culminates into a great product worthy of purchase.

I have one watch in particular that means something extra special to me. Its this (don't laugh) Harry Potter watch given to me by my aunt when I was probably 10 years old. I haven't seen her in many years.

I remember opening it up on Christmas morning and being amazed at the hands being lightning bolts and the colour changing dial.

This is one I will be keeping forever.
