If the blasted case is the look you're after then a bracelet is out of the question. The Laco straps are some of the best I've seen though

There's always the patina'd versions.... Like the paderborn. I own one, and I'd love the patina version. The attention to detail is immense!

For a budget gada, it's got to be the Victorunox INOX quartz. They tested it by driving a 64 ton tank over it. It also comes on a steel bracelet. Higher end would be the Sinn UX GSG9 tegimented. Good enough for the GSG9, good enough for me!

I also have one. If you're looking for a strap option, Nodus do a white/black hybrid strap. It looks absolutely awesome

I'd definately have a look at a Laco Flieger Pro. I have the Stuttgart Pro, and it not only punches way above it's weight, you can customise it too. It definately ticks the historical pedigree box too
