I feel the same way, wanted to buy the BB Chrono Panda 🐼 because it looks incredibly sexy, but I don't like the hour hand that much either.
It's a cheap rubber strap, I wanted to try the look and feel for the summer. I bought the watch with the original leather strap from IWC. I think this gray-blue fits very well with the blue dial.
