Christopher Ward's trident

Probably a question for the Christians in our community: does the trident on some of CW's watches disturb you or does it keep you from buying the watc...

This was just meant as polling of the WC hivemind, not a discussion (for me). I don't think there is a right or wrong answer. Some really interesting responses so far tho.

Watch dials with this kind of indices always remind me of the worms from dungeon master.

Went to Japan last year and was prepared to buy a GS there but I found them not living up to the hype and especially not living up to the price. They are very nice watches, just not that nice.

Thank you for the review! It’s a stunningly beautiful watch and I hope you will enjoy it for a very long time. The lume seems functional, the way you describe it.

Congratulations! This is an absolutely stunning watch. I tried it on recently while on vacation and I still regret not buying it. Could you maybe report on the lume when you have the watch? I heard contradictory statements about it. Here it is on my ~17cm wrist:

commented on I consider buying a San Martin ·

I bought two San Martin SN021-G-B3, one in black and one in blue. Both had misaligned markers. Both times San Martin support said it's within production tolerance. While I agree with that statement concerning the misalignment on the black one, the misalignment on the blue version is a f****ng disaster.

For the black version they sold me a a replacement dial (~35€) because I bought it at a known seller (Watchdives), for the blue version they refuse to sell me a replacement dial because I bought it at a reseller in Europe (skb watches). Both watches are very well made apart from the misalignment.

Although I really appreciate their approach and their overall quality, I struggle to spend more money on their products because of the QC issues I experienced.

This might be an interesting thread for @SanMartinWatches

I was obsessed with the SBGX261 until I went to the dealer to try it. In real life I found it too small, although I usually quite like smaller watches. I tried the 40mm version and found it a much better fit to be honest (the attached picture is of the 40mm version, sorry I forgot what exactly it is called. My wrist is 17cm).

The other problem I had was that it was just too boring and bland for me in real life. I'm a bland and boring person, so I prefer my watches to be the same but this GS was a bit too much of it.

Edit: Sorry I just realized my post was off-topic. I have no insight on the differences between the two watches. I will not delete the post now, maybe there is some useful information in there for someone.
