Omega 166.068 from 1970

Have owned this Seamaster 200 since 1972! A gift from my parents when I turned 16. Many memories come with this timepiece. My favorite one is when I was skiing in Switzerland, standing on top of a mountain ready to ski down.

Then I felt something strange on my wrist, when I looked, my watch was gone!

I remember just bending my knees and putting my gloved hand in the snow and pulling out my watch with a broken bracelet.

What stories do your watches have that you still own?

I bought this in the mid 70's and wore if steadily for 20 years. Many stories which I'm sure are good but I really don't remember much. I mean I was only in my early 20's and it was the 70's.

That's lovely, not heard of or seen one before - blummin' gorgeous mate 😍👍🏻

Many stories, like breaking the crown off my new-to-me Seamaster 300 on my first date with my Lady, or getting Dad an Aqua Terra quartz for Xmas one year which he wore for a few months before deciding it was too posh for him and he wanted to sell it - so I bought it back! Bless him, he put the money towards a car for my Mrs. 😄👍🏻
