Citizen Promaster Dive Supertitanium

Couple shots of my Citizen Promaster Dive Supertitanium on a nato strap.

It's my first dive watch. Some of the markers are not perfectly applied, and the second hand does't hit every mark. It misses a Sapphire crystal and the crown isn't the easyest to operate. Other than that it's quite nice.

The Eco-Drive makes it very troublefree, wich I was going for at the expense of the coolness of an automatic movement.

The light for the lume shots was gattered working at my desk, with no direct sunlight whatsoever.

I was thinking going for a Mido Ocean Star next, mainly for the Powermatic 80. What are your thoughts on that regard ?

There's absolutely no doubting that Citizen make some cracking titanium timepieces 😍.

My Eco-Drive titanium is a brilliant smart/casual daily wearer and shows next to no wear after many years use 💪.

Nice. The Mido is on my list too. Might be worth looking at a Super Squale at the same kind of price point.

Nice, I'll take a look into the Super Squale !!

Great dive watch. Better than anything with the Powermatic inside, IMO. You could always fit a sapphire if you scratch the mineral crystal.

Ok ! I thought it was a good movement, I mostly liked the idea of having 80hrs reserve since my Promaster is what I wear daily, other than my G-Shock GAB-2100 for rock climbing haha

Hi Phil, I have never owned a citizen eco drive till now.

Generally how long the battery last ?

And share your experience with your piece.

It's probably a fine movement, just a bit utilitarian. I'd rather have a good quartz, especially solar, than a basic mechanical, but it's subjective.

Here's a quick write-up to answer some of your questions. I've had 2 Eco-Drive watches over the last 10 or so years and not had to replace anything at all yet 🤞.

Beautiful! The bezel is a standout feature, and so functional too.

Congratulations ona great Echo-Drive diver! I think the Oceanstar is a great watch and a reasonable price point. There are pf course other options for the same price. I'd say shop them all and try as many on as possible. The Oceastar is a beautiful watch. You will be happy with it.

Can’t go wrong with any Powermatic 80 watch!!!

Citizen promaster is always a good bet, I'm rolling around the Promaster Land.

That's a nice NATO! Where'd you get it from?

CNS and watch bands, there are multiple collections, I think it was in the premium collection.
