Once again, G is back in the collection!
I used to have two G-shocks, the casioak and a different solar square but sold them due to some inconveniences.
I always had my eye on the GW-M5610, the contrasting red-white-gold dial and the advantage of solar and multiband six made me fall in love.
I hesitated to buy it tho, I didnt want to pay full price or even high used price but when I saw an ad pop up at just only 54 bucks I knew I had to act fast!
Such a legandary icon of a watch, very attractive and functional, Im so happy to have it in my collection.
Next step is to get a strap adapter for it, so I can put natos on it, making it look even cooler.😁

I think sometimes about the less colorful versions because my tastes are generally very bland and monochromatic, but something about the colors on the 5610U feel so authenticly G Shock/Casio.
Love the watch, hate the strap. It's a shame Casio use such inflexible resin for their entry-level watches. I have several basic Casios on resin bands and I rarely wear them, because of the bands. :( For me the best bang for the buck are the composite band G-shocks or the entry-level steel case models with higher-quality (softer) resin bands.
