Affordable seichu straps?
I really like the weave and look of the Seiko seichu straps as seen on the SPB239. The original seiko straps are available at ADs but are quite pricey. Does anyone have any suggestions to where one might get a similar similar product?

You won't find anything similar to Seichu weave, its a traditional Japanese technique and specially manufactured for Seiko. They are high quality, quite thick and adds about 3-4mm to the watch but are soft and comfortable to wear if you don't mind the thickness.
The most similar style of nato straps are the ribbed/ridge natos. They cost like few dollars more than the normal natos but are slightly thicker and has that thick texture like the Seichu straps but the weave designs are not similar.
Watchgecko, B&J, CNS (got some variants of nato)...a lot more. Juts google ribbed nato straps and you will get a lot of great shops
