Well explained! But, does it mean not keeping the chronograph function running is less ideal a condition for a movement with lateral clutch? Would it stress the mechanism, potentially causing premature failure?
I'd say certain models of the current Omega lineup are still good bang per buck options if you buy new. As for the used market, some Breitling models with B01 movement can be picked up for very good value. Just my 2 cents.
