Been eyeing this watch since it’s announced.

Still thinking about the dial.. maybe it will grow on me.

What do you guys think?

The dial feels like it's trying to do too much. The different bezel fixings, grooved number track and waffle dial. I'm not sold on the purple and black(?) colour combination either.

But the numerals, handset and integrated bracelet are positives.

I think I'm sat on the fence, which means it wouldn't make it into my collection but I'd enjoy seeing it on someone else's wrist.

Pretty much you spoke my mind.

I had difficulty to point out what is “wrong” on the dial. But in fact nothing is wrong, just maybe a little too many things going on.. made it a bit clutter.

Like you said, numerals + handset perhaps with a simple sunburst dial would work. Of course the VC bracket as well. I surprise I haven’t seen more of the others trying to use the original VC 222 bracelet design.
