Ya, a little busy for the dial. But definitely nice to see somebody is taking steps to put all the great design elements together.
Pretty much you spoke my mind.
I had difficulty to point out what is “wrong” on the dial. But in fact nothing is wrong, just maybe a little too many things going on.. made it a bit clutter.
Like you said, numerals + handset perhaps with a simple sunburst dial would work. Of course the VC bracket as well. I surprise I haven’t seen more of the others trying to use the original VC 222 bracelet design.
