Welcome to my little corner of heaven in Derbyshire, UK! Casio

...Both of ours the same watch, only the band/bracelet are different. ...The models currently available - in the UK only - (BN-0118-55E = Black dial & titanium bracelet / BN-0118-04E = Black dial & black Kevlar strap / BN-0118-51X = Green dial & titanium bracelet / BN-0118-51L = Blue dial & titanium bracelet / BN-0118-12L = Blue dial & blue Kevlar strap) are essentially the same watch as ours, just with different dial colours and legends (and no 'Royal Marines Commando' dial logo and 'Royal Navy' logo and flag etched in the caseback!), plus a signed crown! DCLeake.com of Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England offer very competitive prices, a 10% first-time customer discount - and a very efficient international shipping service - I've dealt with them myself and had first class service. There's a recent YouTube video titled 'Why does nobody talk about this watch' that's worth a look... Regards.

These latest Seamaster 300s sure look nice - I just hope Omega have now got their QC sorted... I bought a SM 300 GMT White dial (aka 'The Great White') from Goldsmiths around 20 years ago... I soon noticed that the hour hand was out of register... Back it goes to Omega via Goldsmiths - for a month! ...It came back with just the same issue! ...Off it goes again for another month... This time it came back with the hour hand sorted, but with scratches all over the case! ...Off it goes again - and this time Omega had swapped out the case for a new one - but it was a POLISHED case from the black dial version, NOT the correct BRUSHED case for the White dial! So it was now a 'Frankenwatch'! ...Before I could return it again, the bezel ring fell off - luckily in the house! ...As Goldsmiths had tried their best (!), I wrote directly to Omega and they asked me to personally return the watch to them... They promptly replaced it with a brand new one - all present and correct - but, as I'd bought it to mark a very special personal occasion, the whole experience left a very nasty taste. ...I currently wear - on special occasions only - my late father-in-law's rare 1965 Omega Constellation 'Sports model' (with 'concealed' crown) in steel with a plexiglass crystal... Never been serviced and runs like a dream - made when Omega really knew how to make 'em! ...I hope your Seamaster proves just as memorable - but for all the right reasons! Best wishes.

Yes, I bought my wife the Royal Marines special edition on a Kevlar band around ten years ago for dog-walking - our lovely, but enthusiastic German Shepherds kept breaking her other watches! ...I then got myself the same on a titanium bracelet - both are still going strong... The TV survivalist Ray Mears (think of a grown-up Bear Grylls!) wore an earlier version for years - until his fame earned him a Rolex Submariner... I've not got there yet! IMO most Citizen watches look a bit meh, but the Super Tough is understated and very business-like - suitable for all occasions and could certainly give a G-shock a run for its money when the SHTF! Best wishes.

Have you considered a Citizen Promaster Super Though? ...Titanium monocoque case, 2.5mm thick sapphire crystal, Eco-Drive solar quartz movement, 300m water resistance, good lume, black, blue or green dial and around €400 on a Kevlar strap! Only available in the UK, but retailer D.C. Leake will send abroad. Just a thought - a very tough, stylish alternative to a G-shock and I've got Eco-Drives that have run with no issues for over 20 years! Best wishes.
