No special occasion, rhyme, or reason behind this pick up... Longines released a COSC certified chronograph with a gilt (gold plated, not gold-ish metal) dial and 40's design cues on a super comfortable bracelet and before the sentence was over all the money in my wallet was gone!
I'm going to wear it on the bracelet for the foreseeable future because I haven't worn a bracelet in a while, but I threw it on a strap quick for some pictures. (I know some people prefer that look, lets them see the outline of the watch clearer.)
Without going full review-mode, here's a quick rundown of specs:
Diameter: 40mm
Thickness: 13mm and change including crystal (over 1mm of domed crystal though)
Lug to Lug: 47mm
Movement: more or less a COSC ETA 2892 with silicon hairspring with a chronograph module on top.
Price: Brand new from Longines e-boutique, 3,000$ USD
Any questions, let me know I'll do my best 😂

Did you experience any issues with the links in the bracelet being a bit stiff? Its only happening in one place for me, hoping it just works itself out.
