Your thoughts?

I’m thinking of acquiring this Tudor black bay 39 steel and gold. A YouTuber suggested this one’s movement is different from other Blackbay models. Your thought?

Love it

From what I can tell it's got a MT5602 just like other BB39 models, while the BB41 has the 5601, and the smaller Black Bays have the MT5400/5201. I couldn't see any major differences aside from movement size. (The 5602 has the added chronometer certification from METAS, but for all intents and purposes I think all of these movements are going to be within the same ballpark for accuracy tolerances)

Perhaps it's finished differently; I'm not sure about that.

Regardless, it's a stunner. You've got my vote.

Go for it. It’s like a mix between a blackbay and a datejust. It’s incredibly value for money. Looking forward to a new watch alert!

Own a BB36 blue, reference 79500, Oyster bracelet. ‘Smiling Face’ ETA movement.

Great watch, the downside is it may occupy too much wrist time.

Good luck.
