Seiko World Time Sweeping and Blinking Airplane Second Hand.

Perhaps my self proclaimed Christmas present to myself. I have been on the lookout for this time piece for a while now. I had bought the model that TGV from Urban Gentry got and that was a beautiful mantle clock. After some time, I learned about this time piece from the YouTube channel Greg Anderson - The Good Timekeeper. With a top down view of the world and a beautiful sweeping hand airplane that flashes while circling the time zones (which kind of intends an airplane flying over the world), I was completely sold on this and immediately went on the hunt.

The Seiko World Time mantle clock YouTuber Greg Anderson - The Good Timekeeper has. Note the different colorway with this black version and golden hands.

Unfortunately, these are extremely rare especially the black contrasting dial that he has and these are also quite expensive. I found one on eBay and I did not hesitate to outbid the highest bidder. I ended up winning it and after waiting for 5 days, it finally arrived today. Even though it is not the exact same colorway, it is a gorgeous clock nonetheless. I was very fortunate to find one for I no longer see anything similar with blinking lights anywhere in the world or the Internet. I cannot help myself but geek out and stare at this piece next to my globe and Northwest Airlines 747-400 Herpa Wings die cast while wearing a Seiko SSK001 GMT.
