Lesson learned

I am quite fond at modding my watches and i always try my best to minimalize damage on my watch when i mod. Yesterday i try to swap the bezel insert. With this case i tried to pry the bezel off but to no avail. So i thought of a new way that is to just pop the crystal off and remove the insert from inside. At first i thought this'd be a great idea. Turns out when i pop off the crystal it stucked underneath the bezel insert and i still foolishly tried to pry the crystal open until i heard a crack sound. I was scared that the crystal'd break so i check itu out and what i found is the bezel insert that crumbled in every direction. So the lesson i learned is that try yout best to do it in a conventional way before trying to do it in the unconventional way :)

Ouch!! Lesson learned. Rubbing alcohol, set the watch face down in a little bit of it and it will loosen the adhesive and you can work it out.

I think Marc from Long Island Watches had a video on how to change bezel inserts, like @MinnKonaMike said.
