i'm not a collector by any means, I barely own any watches at the moment.
However, I got into watches thanks to Richard Mille. I first saw Pharrel William's RM and I was intrigued. I went on to read about the brand online and was stunned with the prices, I couldn't believe people were paying that much for such ugly watches (RM was awful to me), but funnily enough it was the brand that got me into reading about mechanical movements. A few weeks later I was hooked.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
The casio with the calculator. It sadly died by taking a dive with it.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
You don't necessarily need to buy every watch you think you want to enjoy the hobby.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Farer
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
I'm not sure I have a grail watch.
If by "grail watch" you mean that one watch that would complete my collecion, I doubt that exists.
However, if the term reffers to a piece that I absolutely love, that'd be the AP Perpertual Calendar in white ceramic.
