That's really lucky. It sold out same day of release on the G-Shock website. Loads of them were bought by scalpers and got listed on ebay for silly money.

I'm now a massive fan of the 5000 steel cased models.

I'm having some serious issues returning a watch to them for warranty repair. It's put me off buying another Timex. The QC is poor on the watch I bought.

GD-X6930E-9ER just picked it up new in box.

It's a big boy too. Regular Gshock squares are my best size but I couldn't resist the lightning yellow of this long discontinued model.

Absolutely the best bit of the film. You can see him almost cracking up as he delivered his lines. I bet it took a number of takes.
