90s kid based in Singapore, love watches with great lume and no date windows. The day Blancpain releases a steel Fifty Fathom in 42mm and remove the date window is the day one of my kidney will end up on the black market, just kidding.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Nothing meaningful and sentimental for now, but i managed to get a Tudor Pelagos 39 as a walk-in customer, 30 mins before closing time.
For those who are interested, it happened on June 2023 in Singapore, i guess supply simply caught up with demand.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Keep calm, try it on your wrist, slowly decide if it's for you, go home and think about it before purchasing.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Rolex, Tudor, Omega, Cartier, Grand Seiko, Longines, Tag Heuer, Laco, Stowa.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Laco Flieger Pro Type B, Rolex Explorer 40mm, Tudor Pelagos 39.
They represent Air, Land and Sea, are all 40mm, no date black dial, has an iconic lume, generally fly under the radar, and works well for formal and casual.
Perfect for someone who suffers from OCD.
