This Weekender was such a sensible choice but I find myself wearing it just to give it some time, not because I particularly enjoy it.
I’m grateful to it though, as it taught me that I probably wouldn’t wear a Type A Fliegler or many field watches like a Hamilton. A good $40 lesson would be a painful $400 lesson.
But I’ll get it to see from time to time - I gave it to my daughter who’s finishing her teaching degree. She loves it because it’s kind of chunky on her, and because, well, it was mine.
(She steals my old sweatshirts and old tshirts too).
Which makes me happy.

That's cool! I did the reverse (watch/ not shirts, I'm far too fat for that). My son has the same watch and I stole it from him because he left it at home when he moved out long ago.
