There are plenty on chrono24. I didn't look in detail, but under $1k they're going to be mostly vintage or 10+ year old quartz models

I agree with you. While I prefer the single GS logo overall, on the quartz models, not having any text at 6:00 makes the dial look unbalanced to me. I went with an older sbgv007 instead of the newer Sbgp003 because of this, despite having to settle for the older movement. 

I'm late to the game here, but as mentioned above, an Artem sailcloth looks amazing. I also pair my 143 with a Tropic and a waffle and think both look fantastic.
