My father had Omega and Breitlings, and gave me a real interest into the hobby at an early age. I grew up thinking a real man wears a nice watch.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Pulsar red LCD, back in the 70s. It would heat up on your wrist!😅
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My Speedy was given to me by my lovely wife as a birthday present during covid to cheer me up. It certainly did the trick!
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
When I began collecting I bought many, many watches far too quickly and it became almost like a race. Before I knew it I had in excess of 40+ watches. I would suggest acquire pieces slowly, think carefully and research those watches your interested in. The hunt for the watch can be just as much fun as the purchase itself. I now have 12 watches, (6 sports and 6 fun watches). Above all, enjoy the hobby!
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Dresswatches including Glashutte, IWC, VC, and JLC. I'm also taking a keen interest in GS.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
At present it's a Sub pepsi, however my grail changes regularaly!
