Giving the Spinnaker Wreck an outing today. Very cool looking watch, however, on closer inspection the dial is too obviously printed paper. Would've been very cool as an aluminium print, would've gave it more depth. Still a nice watch though.

Interesting.. is it a mod or are you restoring a Spinnaker?

That's how it comes from Spinnaker. It's meant to represent a watch that has been lost at sea for a wee while, I believe. It does look like it's been in the ocean for a decade or 2.

I was confused when you mentioned the paper dial. I didn't realize that is how they came.

Nice watch though

It's OK from a distance, but when you get close the dial isn't as impressive as it could be.

I wanted one of these for a long time, but I would have been disappointed with a printed dial. Still looks awesome though!

Eye to wrist it looks good its when you get a wee bit closer it's noticeably printed paper. I got mine very cheap so I'm no too upset, I wouldn't be happy had I paid rrp though.

Are those geo coordinates etched into the dial ?

Just noticed this @cams85 they are but I've no had magnifying glass on them yet to see if they're real
