I've always been time obsessed so having a watch was paramount to my OCD, then watches themselves became my OCD.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Timex manual wind given to me by my Dads best mate Tam Burnett because I completed a task he set me, I was 10.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
A 1974 Seiko 5 Automatic that still ticked after the wearer, my Dad, died from a massive heart attack. Usually that stops a watch dead (pardon the pun) as far as I'm aware.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Follow your heart before you get too technical and high brow about it & remember it's fun.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Just discovered Aragon, was impressed with the level of quality for little cash. I liked them so much, I've bought 6 in 8 weeks
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
My Bulova (original Bulova made) Sea King with 2 subdials and SS bracelet. Exceptionally well made, big, very heavy, precise and #@!&รท?> cool.
